Working as Part-time Product Handling, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches.
You will consolidate product, restock locations and move inventory by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.

This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987.
This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label producto Consolidating producto Restocking product locationso Moving inventory throughout the distribution centero Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areao Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectationso Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectiveso Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainingsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONSThe following skills and qualifications are required for this positiono Proficient written and oral communication skillso Proficient computer skillso Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmento Work independently as well as in a team environmento Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as neededo Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbso Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONSo Prior experience operating a forkliftABOUT USSince 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
